DOH Discloses Information On The 20 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In The Philippines

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 10 additional cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Philippines this March 9. That brought the total tally up to 20 cases.

Later on in the day, the DOH released information on the 20 COVID-19 cases in the Philippines. The details are as follows:

• Patient 1: 38-year-old Chinese female; Discharged after testing negative for the virus twice on February 8
• Patient 2: 44-year-old Chinese male; First COVID-19 death recorded outside of China
• Patient 3: 60-year-old Chinese female; Took a flight back to Shenzen, China on January 31
• Patient 4: 48-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa
• Patient 5: 62-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at the RITM in Muntinlupa
• Patient 6: 59-year-old Filipino female; Admitted at the RITM in Muntinlupa
• Patient 7: 38-year-old Taiwanese male; Admitted at Makati Medical Center in Makati
• Patient 8: 32-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global in Taguig
• Patient 9: 86-year-old American male; Admitted at The Medical City in Pasig City
• Patient 10: 57-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City
• Patient 11: 72-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at the Medical City in Pasig City
• Patient 12: 56-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at Makati Medical Center in Makati
• Patient 13: 34-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at Makati Medical Center in Makati
• Patient 14: 46-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at Makati Medical Center in Makati
• Patient 15: 24-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at Makati Medical Center in Makati
• Patient 16: 70-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at Unihealth-Paranaque Hospital in Paranaque
• Patient 17: 69-year-old Filipino female; Admitted at Unihealth-Paranaque Hospital in Paranaque
• Patient 18: 41-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at Tricity Medical Center in Pasig City
• Patient 19: 46-year-old Filipino female; Admitted at Tricity Medical Center in Pasig City
• Patient 20: 48-year-old Filipino male; Admitted at the RITM in Muntinlupa
