Dilaw started 2025 with a bang. Kicking off the year with back-to-back gigs and performances, the “Uhaw” hitmakers also released their latest song, “Mahal,” on January 24, 2025. The song explored the priceless nature of true love and a person’s unwavering commitment—being willing to bet everything on the relationship, even against the odds.
It was the final track in their Love Trilogy series, following “Nilalang” and “YIEE.” These songs captured the stages of love—from seeing a beloved as the most beautiful person, feeling the kilig of being with them, and finally experiencing that love—a perfect soundtrack for the Valentine’s Day celebration.
Right after the release, Dilaw launched the first of their “Lawdian Nights” fan events on January 24, 2025, at Lyf Malate Manila. Designed as a night of fun activities and music, the band envisioned Lawdian Nights as a regular event where they could bond with fans and perform live. Attendees even got lucky and heard new, unreleased songs at the gathering. The event also served as an opportunity for their community to come together and celebrate their shared love for the band and their music.
With so much that happened early in the year, Dilaw fans had plenty to enjoy and look forward to.
