The multi-awarded actor previously took an indefinite break to focus on personal affairs. After 4 years in hiatus, he returns to the entertainment industry under Crown Artist Management, the talent agency owned by his “One More Chance” co-star, Maja Salvador.

JLC was last seen in Ricky Lee’s 2019 film “Culion”. Meanwhile, the last box office hit he did was “Finally Found Someone” where he played Sarah Geronimo’s leading man. Prior to his official return, Cruz was also allegedly seen filming last year for an upcoming movie called “Servando Magdamag” directed by Lav Diaz.
