If you’re like us who are eagerly waiting for the third season of Stranger Things, we have an interesting tidbit for you: according to David Harbour in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, who plays Jim Hopper on the show, the season finale is “the greatest episode we’ve ever shot.”

He added, “It’s so emotionally powerful because you’re not expecting what happens to happen. I don’t think we’ve ever shot anything more moving.”

In the show’s third season, the fictional town of Hawkins will be attacked again by an interdimensional creature.

Stranger Things follows a group of young boys whose friend goes missing, not knowing that his disappearance is tied to a top-secret government experiment that involves monsters and a creepy parallel universe. For its second season, the missing Will Byers returns and seems to be the first person who realizes that not everything is as it should be.

The show has received acclaim from viewers and critics, with its first season earning 18 nominations at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The third season is expected to return on July 4, 2019.
