Cristine had played the role of Mara, an abused woman who seeks the help of Georgian police to help her deal with her husband Joachim, played by Xian Lim. But as the film progresses, it becomes a he-said/she-said story of mounting suspense as the couple’s dark secrets unravel one by one.

Untrue is directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who was behind the well-loved 2017 film Kita Kita.

Congratulations, Cristine!
