According to the article, “digital nomads who work in the Philippines have access to fast Internet, affordable accommodation, and a vibrant startup community.” Apparently, Cebu is a great destination to work because it’s cheaper than Manila in terms of living costs while still providing world-class infrastructure, co-working communities, and many adventurous experiences. It’s really no wonder why so many people travel and work there.

According to the list, the top 5 places to work remotely are Lisbon, Portugal; Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam; Madeira, Portugal; Chiang Mai, Thailand; and Bali, Indonesia at the top spot.
