Following the viral sensation of his exhibit at the recent Art Fair Philippines, designer and visual artist Carlo Tanseco is set to ignite imaginations once again at the Art in the Park 2025 as he brings “RIZAL in the PARK” to the one-day-only affordable art fair on March 23 at Jaime Velasquez Park in Makati City.

For the first time in two years, Tanseco will exhibit a piece from his Rizal Matchbox series. Titled “Rizal Matchbox: Liyaban ang Apoy ng Kagitingan (Mid-Open – Red),” this work represents a significant evolution within the series. It is the first of its kind at this particular size to be released by the artist, further expanding the visual and conceptual language of the collection.
Executed in acrylic on box canvas, this singular piece will be the only Rizal Matchbox painting available at this year’s edition of the Art in the Park.
Tanseco will also offer a limited edition of giclée prints based on this captivating work. Only 20 of these exclusive prints will be available, ensuring a wider audience can take home a piece from this remarkable series.
