Carla Abellana has officially confirmed that she is engaged. On December 2, 2025, Boy Abunda announced on his program that the actress personally verified the news after they reached out to her.

“Minessage namin si Carla kung engaged na nga siya. Kinumpirma ni Carla. We asked permission if we can confirm this in the program that she is indeed engaged. And she said, ‘Sure,’” he shared. “Napakagandang balita po. We are happy for Carla Abellana.”
The confirmation came just a day after Carla sparked engagement buzz by posting a photo of a ring on Instagram. The post featured a Bible verse from Jeremiah 29:11, which talks about hope and God’s plans for one’s future.

Following her post, friends and supporters quickly filled the comments section with congratulatory messages. Carla has previously shared that she decided to ease back into dating.
Before this new chapter in her life, Carla was married to actor Tom Rodriguez. The two tied the knot in 2021 after being together for several years. Their separation was confirmed in 2022, with Tom later moving to the US for a time before returning to the Philippines in 2024. He has since revealed that he is also in a new relationship and has welcomed a baby boy.
