Candy Mix – Sweet Treats For The Sweet Tooth
I’ve had a major sweet tooth ever since I was a kid, and I’m only slightly embarrassed to admit that I’ve never quite grown out of it. The more sugar in something, the better! Fortunately for me, there are plenty of options available when In Manila to meet my candy craving needs, and Candy Mix does just that all on its own!
Candy Mix is primarily known as a “Pick & Mix” candy store, where customers grab a bag, fill it with different kinds of candy, and then pay depending on the weight! I have always loved Pick & Mix candy stores because they offer a lot of variety at a great price!
Even though Candy Mix‘s primary attraction is the pick and mix, though, there are also other delicious treats you can buy from them in a prepared jar. The jars are super cute and the best part is that they have a resealable lid, so your candy stays fresh for as long as needed!
David and I were able to sample 5 different types of candies that you can buy from Candy Mix in these cute little jars. Each jar contains 150 grams of your selected candy, and all of the treats are deliciously fresh and sweet!
First, we tasted the Strawberry Flavored Gummy Berries. I had never tried this type of candy before and was delighted by the interesting texture. Crunchy on the outside but gummy on the inside, these fruit flavored candies were both fun and tasty!
If fruit flavoured candy isn’t really your preference, though, you can try the Cola Fizz Gummy Berries instead! I have to say: even though I loved both flavors, this one was my favorite as it was quite unique. With both unique flavor and texture, these are sure to be pleasing to your tongue!
Now, what candy store would ever be complete without classic Jelly Beans?! Candy Mix again delivers with a sweet and fresh candy. Each different colored bean provides a different flavor, and every one of them is delicious! The texture is perfect – a slight crunch as you bite down and then a sweet jelly inside. The best part for me is that the green ones are Green Apple Flavored as opposed to the usual lime.
Here we have another classic must-have for all candy suppliers: Gum Balls! 4-5 of these little balls would be the perfect amount for your chewing gum needs, and the flavor of these is surprisingly long-lasting.
Finally, the last candy we sampled was the Red Hearts – another sweet, strawberry flavored gummy candy. With a classic gummy texture and a mouthwatering fruity flavor, these were some of my favorites. They’re also so pretty to look at, and the heart shape makes them perfect as a gift for your sweetheart!
