Spicy Boneless Chicken (Php 350.00)

We started off with Bulgogi Brothers’ Spicy Boneless Chicken; tender chicken fillets marinated in a sweet garlic soy sauce that provide the perfect marriage of sweet and tangy. The succulent portions of chicken leg with its sweet and thick sauce invited morsel after morsel of piping hot sticky rice, which I’ve finally come to appreciate thanks to Bulgogi Brothers.

L.A. Style Short Ribs (Php 495.00)

For hard-core carnivores who just have to have their beefy fix, Bulgogi Brothers offers their Boneless Beef Ribs (Kkotgalbisal) and L.A. Style Short Ribs (L.A. Style Galbi); slivers of delectable beef ribs coated in a rich and fruity Bulgogi sauce. The fruity marinade is actually a characteristic unique in Korean cooking, and complements the beef’s smoked flavor very well. This dish was served with a selection of three dipping sauces: salt, soybean and spicy chili paste. I highly recommend dipping your beef in a combo of salt and spicy chili paste for an instant flavor kick.

Korean Pork Belly (Solo – Php 245.00, To Share – Php 395.00)

Running along the vein of fruit-infused Korean flavor, Bulgogi Brothers’ Korean Pork Belly (Tong Samgyeopsal) is a crispy and crunchy option for meat lovers on the prowl for novel pork dishes. These rows of pork belly chunks are steeped in a citrus-y Bulgogi sauce and grilled to a juicy crisp; perfect for munching with a side dish of caramelized onions and grilled sweet potatoes for a sweet and tart flavor mix. The thin layers of fat around the meat provide just the right amount of extra flavor to it as well.

Seafood Special (P745.00)

Bulgogi Brothers also offers a healthy yet just as flavorful alternative for the seafood lovers and health-conscious. Their Seafood Special platter consists of grilled Salmon and Apahap fillets served with a savory lemon-butter sauce. The Apahap and Salmon were cooked just right, lending them a firm bite that make way for a tender and fleshy core, accentuated with hints of zesty and salty flavors.

Korean Ice-cream! The Melona Ice Waffle was pure W-I-N.

And as all Filipino must be concluded with a round of desserts, Bulgogi Brothers offered us some specialty Korean ice cream and popsicles to end our night on a sweet note. I finally got to try the fish-shaped wafer ice cream everyone’s been raving about!

Bulgogi Brothers put a uniquely Korean spin on what would’ve been a drab and rainy Wednesday night for Hannah and I, and I’m pretty sure we’d be up for another round of Korean BBQ goodness if permitted. So When in Manila and looking for a new way to warm up your rainy night out, go K-Pop all over the place with Bulgogi Brothers’ Korean Barbecue Specials. 😉
