BTS’ V dropped his new single “Fri(end)s”! It’s a love song in the pop-soul R&B genre that delves into the complexities of situationships.
On March 15, the music video for “Fri(end)s” was also released, starring the K-pop superstar and British actress Ruby Sear. Many fans couldn’t help but notice the chemistry between the two as they played as lovers!

In the music video, V showcases his acting skills and, of course, his stunning visuals once again, expressing jealousy, annoyance, and yearning while surrounded by romantic couples.
With lyrics like “Friends, just for now / Yeah, but friends don’t say words that / Make friends feel like more than just / Friends, just for now,” this song is indeed relatable to those in a situationship.

As of writing, the music video has already garnered over a million views. The hashtag #V_FRIENDS also topped the Philippines trending list on X.
