When in Boracay, hang with the fun, international crowd known only as The Boracay Pubcrawl!

What’s a Pubcrawl?

If you haven’t been to a pubcrawl before, then you definitely, definitely will want to check out the Boracay Pubcrawl. I’ve only been on one pubcrawl before and that was in the States, so I honestly wasn’t too sure what to expect when I showed up. 

However, the entire focus of the Boracay Pubcrawl turned out to be very simple:

1. Have a good time
2. Make friends (and have a good time with them).

Easy enough, right? 

So How’s the Boracay Pubcrawl Work?

To start off the Boracay Pubcrawl, everyone gets a bright yellow shirt and their name scribbled across the top. This makes it really easy to recognize people that you are with, and whether you forget their name because your bad with names or because of the alcohol, you can always pretend you remember just by reading their shirt. I think all of life should be like this!

Right off the bat the rules were laid down. Drink a lot, have a good time, drink only while standing on 1 leg, meet a person per bar and find a common interest. And yeah, you guessed it–the punishment for not meeting any of these goals is, surprise, drinking!

I think we went to a total of 5 or 6 bars…don’t judge me for not remembering! That wasn’t one of the goals so I’ll let the pictures do the talking 🙂

So Should I Go?

It was a blast. We had competitive games on the beach, free shots at everywhere, discount drinks, free admittance to the coolest bars, and wherever we went we were constantly making new friends. Inside of the first 10 minutes alone, I met people from India, Australia, Russia, USA, Israel, Canada, Singapore, Germany and, of course, the Philippines. So yes, you should definitely go!

While I’m somewhat sad that the rest of the pubcrawls in the world won’t be as good as the Boracay Pubcrawl, I’m grateful for the beach-clubbing, fun-loving, Red-Horse-guzzling crazy night.

And I definitely won’t forget what I remember or remember what I forgot any time soon!
