Blackpink’s Jennie apologized to her fans through an Instagram Story for leaving the stage midway during the group’s day 2 Born Pink concert in Melbourne, Australia on June 11 due to health concerns.

“Dear Melbourne Blinks. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show on Sunday. I’m doing my best to recover atm. Your understanding and support means the world to me. Thank you to everyone who came to our Melbourne show. Love you guys,” she wrote.

In fan-captured videos, Jennie was seen dancing alongside Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo as they performed Lovesick Girls until she stopped dancing and abruptly walked offstage. The other members concluded the show, while many fans expressed their worry about the K-pop idol’s health condition.

Blackpink’s agency YG Entertainment also released a statement on Weverse to apologize to the fans and ask for understanding, clarifying that Jennie wasn’t able to finish the show due to her “deteriorating condition.”
“JENNIE expressed her strong determination to carry on with the performance until the end. However, following medical advice on site, we immediately took measures to ensure she receives ample rest and stability,” the statement read.

Prior to the concert, several fans pointed out that Jennie seems like not in good shape.
“JENNIE has conveyed her regrets for not being able to stay with the fans until the end, and assures that she will recover as soon as possible. We will do [our] utmost to support Jennie’s speedy recovery. We would like to ask for your understanding once again,” the statement concluded.
Jennie currently stars in the HBO program The Idol with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, where her alluring performance gained a lot of reactions from fans and netizens.
