Aside from swimming, the resort is also complete with a playground area that kids can enjoy.
After lunch, we explored the beach and the resort’s gems, one of which is the famous giant chessboard.
They also have a showcase of exotic Iguanas.

THE BEACH
Nirwana Island has a naturally wide panoramic shoreline, white powdery sand and pristine blue waters that makes you stare for a while and forget everything for a moment. It is the perfect place to unwind without worrying too much if there are one or two people photobombing your selfie shots 🙂
The next morning, during low tide, we intended to walk towards the end of the shoreline, a place for meditation and relaxation.
It is a combination of a sun-kissed beach, enormously huge rocks and a tropical forest rolled into one. A perfect mix of nature. Everything is raw, virgin and seemingly untouched. While sitting in a huge rock while awaiting the sunrise, I’ve come to realize how Indonesia humbly possesses a bountiful nature that’s yet to be explored.
Last look of the beach, sound-tripping while waiting for our bus to arrive.
Because beaches are not meant to be overpopulated, I’d say this is one perfect beach to visit. Indonesia is promoting Bintan as the next best tourist destination after Bali.
