When in Manila, Filipinos enjoy the sight of beautiful, graceful and intelligent ladies during this time of the year. Â For 50 years, we have been entertained and brought to much excitement as BPCI (Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated) brings us the Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant. Â I am quite happy and content with the turnout of events this year. Â But before I tell you the scoop, let me share with you who I saw at Smart Araneta Coliseum!
The Binibining Pilipinas title holders for the past 50 years had graced the event in their stunning long gowns. Â I was blessed to have met them during the cocktail dinner before the pageant. Â Most, if not all, of them were able to preserve their beauty and youthfulness. Â Despite the passing decades, they still looked like beauty queens. Â
All of them seemed to have come from a foreign (unknown) land, where people were born slimmer, much taller and with longer limbs.  I was like a foot shorter compared to each and everyone of them. 😛
It’s thrilling to see onstage all of the queens who have reigned in the past 50 years. Â Many of which were part of my mom’s, and grand mom’s generations. Hoping for another 50 years to come!
