The dining area of Banana Beach Tagum was just a few meters away from our room.
Its bar area is open 24 hours, by the way, so you are free to order cocktails any time of the night! Score! 😀
As mentioned earlier, the delectable breakfast was definitely something to look forward to. I hate to admit it, but I’m an Instagram fanatic (follow @lilmisswonderwoman and @wheninmanila please haha) and to say that their breakfast was Instagram-worthy is an understatement. It just looked so perfect, I didn’t even wanna touch it.

While I was busy Instagramming my food, my nephew was busy splashing around in the pool, which was also a great sight to behold.
I spent most of my time in Tagum exploring what Tagum had to offer (more on that in my next post), though, so I was only able to behold the prettiness of the pool. My brother and nephew actually stayed in the pool from breakfast time to lunch time, though. In fact, if it hadn’t rained, I’m sure they would’ve stayed even longer, so that just goes to show how awesome the pool must have been.
Aside from touring Tagum itself, I also toured Banana Beach Tagum, of course. Here are the other things that you can look forward to if you stay at this paradise resort for the night or even just visit the place for a day trip:
If you plan on going to Banana Beach Tagum for a day trip (day packages are Php1,200 per head while consumable day passes are Php750 per head), these tea houses would be the best places to chill in, eat in, lie down in and bond with your friends and family members in. Plus, you’ll get a pretty view of the sea while you’re at it.
Activities abound at Banana Beach Tagum, too. Aside from swimming and eating, you can enjoy ATV rides, volleyball or frisbee games, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, banana boating, biking, crabbing, river cruising, forest tours, plantation tours, river tours, and orchard tours. Whew! You definitely won’t die of boredom here!
While we stayed at the air-conditioned casitas, which cost Php5,000 for 2 to 4 people (additional guests are charged Php700 per head), they also had these awesome non-air-conditioned casitas with that Thai beach vibe that I absolutely love!
Seeing them made me feel like I was in a completely different country altogether. I’m definitely up for trying this one when I go back! (The non-air-conditioned casitas cost Php2,800 for 2 to 4 people and Php3,500 for 4 to 6 people.)
Just walking around Banana Beach Tagum and taking in all of the surroundings is enough to make you realize that you have definitely hit the jackpot with this paradise resort. I fell in love with it at first sight and stayed in love with it until last sight.
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I needed to get away from city life. Maybe it had something to do with the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Maybe it had something to do with the slew of activities that I got up to whilst staying at Banana Beach Tagum. Regardless of what it was, it is a love that will surely last. #cheese Can’t wait to go back to Tagum soon! 🙂
