A bakeshop in Quezon City is paying tribute to one of Philippine cinema’s greatest icons, Nora Aunor, in the sweetest way possible with a pastry named after her: “Pan de Nora.”

Kamuning Bakery Café is now offering this special treat in honor of Nora’s birthday on May 21.
Owner Wilson Lee Flores gave a glimpse of the “Pan de Nora,” which features a raisin thoughtfully placed to resemble the late actress’ iconic mole. Each pack consists of two pieces priced at P25.
“May 21, honor the late Nora Aunor with a slice of history! Kamuning Bakery Cafe—Quezon City’s pioneer bakery—presents “Pan de Nora,” a special bread tribute to the superstar whose films and life inspired millions,” he wrote in the caption.
Kamuning Bakery is located at 43 Judge Jimenez Street corner K-1st Street, Brgy. Kamuning, Quezon City. It is open daily from 5 AM to PM.
Nora passed away on April 16 at the age of 71 due to acute respiratory failure. Throughout her decades-long career, she has brought immense pride to the Philippine film and television industry with her impeccable performances in numerous films and shows, earning her a long list of accolades, including awards from FAMAS, Gawad Urian, and many more.
