Earlier that evening, I returned to Prime Cafe for an early dinner..
I sooo liked their Roasted Pumpkin and Carrot soup with garlic toasts! Superb!
I’ve been hearing so many good reviews about their Bistro SISIG!
When it landed on my table, I was amazed by the huge serving size and huge pork chunks! It was one of the crispiest I’ve ever tried and the price was only P150! Unbelievable!
the people at the Front Office recommended I should try the Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake so I gave it a go..
Here are more of the dishes I tried out during my stay….. Too bad I didn’t have anyone to share it with so I didn’t finish most of the food.
I indulged on a plateful of their Classic Caesar Salad with generous amounts of dressing and Parmesan cheese! “PANALO!”

at last, I was able to taste their “Talk of the Town” Beef Salpicao!
This is actually the 1st ever Salpicao which I liked!
Their super cool Manager Sir Joms told me I should try their hot chocolate! Oh wow it was indeed heartwarming!
How could such a small humble hotel with no pool, no spa etc capture the hearts of many? <—- This question perhaps would be one of the reasons why I checked in. I had to find it out myself! With the countless hotels in the metro, it’s surprising how B Hotel manages to shine. Fortunately, I was able to somehow discover some insights…
Apart from the extra things you can find in your room, the whole staff at the hotel is genuinely friendly! When I asked them about their work, they all said one thing, “We’re like a family here!” I took the time to talk to as many employees as I could and everyone said the same. They also have high respects for their Manager Sir Joms for he truly knows how to effectively manage people. I can see by the way how the staff looks and treats him, that he’s indeed valued a lot. His presence is so strong that whenever he enters the hotel, it felt like a VIP has arrived! When I had the privilege to have a chat with him, he told me that the secret is to always try to help people when they need you. He also makes sure that they are trained well and they extend all the help they could, to make each guest have a memorable experience! It’s the little details that matter and the extra TLC makes all the difference! No wonder employees really stay for years and no wonder their guests keep coming back!
Sir Joms I must say, would be one of the coolest Hotel Managers I’ve met! A good organization starts with good leadership and there is no doubt that Sir Joms play a great role model to everyone! He’s one of those few souls who affect you in a positive way. I’m saying this ‘coz it’s how I felt after meeting him.
After that wonderful chat with Sir Joms, I was surprised to see these in my room!

while chatting, I mentioned that I wasn’t able to buy their famous Ensaymadas last night for they were all sold out! Sir Joms, made an effort to get Ensaymadas from The Bellevue Manila just to give to me! He even left a handwritten note! It was really a thoughtful gesture and I appreciated it a lot!
The hardest part as to all epic staycations would be check-out time….. *sniff*sniff* I know for certain that this is only a start of a wonderful friendship between me and the B Hotel! They really got me right in the heart and after a long time, I can say once again that I have found yet another home! A hotel to come home to. A hotel where your comfort is their utmost priority without you spending a fortune.
Spending a weekend over at B Hotel is one of the best decisions I made so far this year! I was able to relax and indulge to my heart’s content. Staying here at The B Hotel is a sure great way to reward yourself! It may not be as luxurious or have a lot of amenities, but the place’s good vibe will surely fill you with an abundance of good energy! I left with a mind full of stories and a heart filled with joy.
I may be traveling alone for now, but I guess I just have to make the most of what I have and be thankful for the things to come. Much is given to me and I can never give-up on something so wonderful and GOOD – this is a gift that’s too precious to just leave behind and I can never forgive myself if I ignore these blessings. To be given the opportunity to go places and promote the beauty of the Philippines is a privilege of a lifetime!
