Awra Briguela took to Instagram to convey the warmest birthday greetings to her father Oneal Brian Briguela on his special day! She shared throwback photos, highlighting her father’s unwavering support every step of the way, and seized the opportunity to express her heartfelt gratitude.

“Happy birthday pa, masaya ako para sayo kaya naman goodluck sa bago mong tatahakin,” she began. The influencer/comedian, however, kept further details about her father’s upcoming venture private.
She went on to acknowledge her supportive father’s presence in her life. “Salamat sa lahat, pa. Marami man tayong hindi pag kakaunawaan at madalas hindi tayo nag kakaintindihan, salamat kase hindi ka nawala sa tabi ko at hindi mo ko pinabayaan,” she wrote.

Awra Briguela, whose real name is McNeal Briguela, stars in Prime Video’s first Filipino series, “Comedy Island Philippines,” alongside Carlo Aquino, Rufa Mae Quinto, Andrea Brillantes, Jerald Napoles, Cai Cortez, Justine Luzares, and Drew Arellano. She is also a special guest in the platform’s Pinoy edition of “Takeshi’s Castle” with Eugene Domingo, Smokey Manaloto, and Sassa Gurl!
She first gained recognition through her role as Makmak in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” personally chosen by lead actor Coco Martin. In 2016, her life story was featured in an episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” titled “Singkwenta Pesos.”
She also became the first champion of the Philippines’ “Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids” in 2017.
Through her hard work, she was able to send her father to college, and he graduated in 2021.
It’s not every day that we see a Filipino father as supportive as Awra’s. For that, he undoubtedly deserves the happiest birthday!
