Ateneo Medical Interns Make Protective Equipment for COVID-19 Frontliners

Due to the spread of COVID-19, many health workers are facing a shortage of protective equipment. With this, many people are finding different ways to provide health workers and frontliners with what they need.

Among the many people who are contributing to this are these medical interns from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH). In a Facebook post by ASMPH, they share how they make protective equipment for health workers and frontliners.

In the post, they say that “At this time, we are finding different ways we can help the frontliners in the hospitals. And one way that we found is by making alternative face shields for our frontliners.”

They got resourceful and creative with these face shields, basing it on other videos and posts they have seen on social media. They also mentioned that they have recently donated to The Medical City, and are looking forward to donating to other partner hospitals of ASMPH.
