Ariella Arida is the new National Director of Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH)!

On February 15, the organization announced that the beauty queen was named the National Director for Training and Development, coinciding with the unveiling of this year’s Miss Universe Philippines candidates.
In this role, the MUPH stated that she will “help shape the next generation of uniquely beautiful Filipinas.”

She will follow in the footsteps of her predecessors, Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup-Lee and MUPH president Jonas Gaffud.
In an Instagram post, Ariella expressed her excitement for her journey as the MUPH’s new National Director.
“Grateful and ready! Looking forward to an exciting journey ahead. Thank you so much @themissuniverseph for the trust and opportunity to serve as a National Director,” she noted.
“I’m committed to making a positive impact and helping every woman shine on her path to success as they chase their dreams. Let’s make this year an incredible one!”

Ariella represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2013 and placed 3rd runner-up.
