Are Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil Starring in PH Adaptation of “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay”?

Here’s the latest rumor going around social media: the popular love team LizQuen is said to star in the local adaptation of popular Korean drama “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay!”

Twitter user Philippine TV & Film Updates said that the couple may be top-billing the adaptation of the drama, though it’s still not certain. The tweet earned mixed reactions from netizens, some of whom expressed excitement for the couple while others questioned if they were right for the role.

It has yet to be confirmed who exactly will be chosen to star in “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” which discusses mental heath and dark themes. Kim Soo-Hyun and Seo Yea-Ji originally portrayed the main characters Moon Gang-Tae, a caretaker at a psychiatric ward, and Ko Moon-Young, an antisocial children’s book author, respectively. The two of them, including Gang-Tae’s older brother with autism Sang-Tae, then begin their road to healing from their personal emotional wounds and learn to move forward.
