Apparently, Filipino Sugar Babies Can Earn Up to P140k-P280k a Month—and There’s an App to Help You Be One

A recent survey revealed just how much Filipino sugar babies earn, and you’ll be surprised. The survey, titled Gifts, Allowances & Arrangements was conducted by Sugarbook, a luxury dating platform that connects sugar babies and sugar daddies “to meet and grow honest relationships.”

And here’s what the survey revealed about the life of Filipino sugar babies: 55% say that they earn up to P57,700 monthly, while 22% earn between P141,500 to P283,000 per month. And for a select few, at 2% to be exact, these sugar babies can earn over P283,000 monthly.

Sugarbook shared that they experienced an 189% traffic surge in the Philippines between December 2022 to August 2023, 80% of which were from sugar babies looking for sugar daddies.

Darren Chan, Founder and CEO of Sugarbook, said: “Driven by financial difficulties, an increasing number of Filipinos have signed up to Sugarbook to maintain their desired lifestyles. With an average monthly allowance of ₱52,000, sugar dating has helped enable those in need to have stable livelihoods.”

The survey also revealed the cities and areas in the Philippines with the most sugar babies. Metro Manila seems to be the ~sugar baby capital of the Philippines~ with over a hundred thousand sugar babies. Here’s the ranking:

  1. Metro Manila: 144,462 sugar babies and 33,749 sugar daddies
  2. Calabarzon: 47,120 sugar babies and 16,013 sugar daddies
  3. Central Luzon: 31,621  and 10,234 sugar daddies
  4. Central Visayas: 22,665 sugar babies and 8,452 sugar daddies
  5. Northern Mindanao: 7,412 sugar babies and 1,709 sugar daddies

According to Sugarbook, the survey was conducted among 10,000 participants across various age groups, regions, and occupations.
