Fans of James Reid and Nadine Lustre are left emotional wrecks after director Antoinette Jadaone shared a trailer of her television series On The Wings of Love, starring the two and which aired four years ago, a few days after the couple confirmed their breakup.
On The Wings of Love, or OTWOL, was the series that gave rise to the JaDine love team and made them part of Twitter’s trending topics list every night.
In the caption, Jadaone wrote: “4 years ago, we released this teaser for the final weeks of On The Wings of Love. Good times. Twas a good run.”

The tweet went viral as fans thanked the director for creating the popular series and quoted the iconic line that James’ character said in the trailer: “Kapag mahal ka, babalikan ka. Pero kung mahal ka talaga, iiwan ka ba niya? (If he loves you, he’ll come back for you. But if he really loves you, will he ever really leave you?)”

Otwol made a History… It was the best teleserye I’ve ever watched in my whole life… James and Nadine has the best love story… They decided to have seperate ways maybe just for now but I still believe this is not the end of their story…only a chapter of it has ended…

James and Nadine announced their split on January 20, 2020, after almost four years of being together.
According to them, their breakup was due to them deciding to focus on themselves not only for their careers but more for their personal growth. “We agreed that going separate ways was best for both of us,” they said. They added that they are in good terms and are “still really good friends.”
