Anne Curtis took to social media to remember her father on his first birthday in heaven.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Anne expressed how much she misses her father. Her post also included an old photo of her father, with one showing him slicing a cake, and another photo where he was hugging her daughter, Dahlia.

“Happy birthday to my Father Dearest. Missing him with all of my heart,” she captioned her post.
She added, “I can’t help but ponder what it must be like up in heaven? If today, the angels celebrate him too, I hope they let him have a glass of wine. I know somewhere amongst the clouds and stars is where he sits, and that’s where I’ll raise my glass to.”
In January, the actress announced that her father passed away.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of our father, James E. Curtis-Smith. A true patriarch in every sense, he shaped us with strength, resilience, and a wit that will forever echo in our family,” she wrote. “He was deeply loved, endlessly admired, and will live on in our hearts always. We will miss him dearly.”
May he rest in peace.
