“Among Us” beta updates make it easier to be the impostor now, users notice

For those of you who’ve been hooked on the game “Among Us,” you’ll be pleased to know that the beta updates to the game have now made it easier to become an impostor! This goes out to my bold-faced impostors out there, pointing fingers at other people during the game to make them seem less suspicious and more of a friend (fellow constant crewmates, unite!).

Apparently, beta users have noticed that there’s now anonymous voting. Which will make it easier on players to avoid conflict–even if conflict is the entire point of the game. Well, at least no finger-pointing will happen on that front.

There’s also the option to make the task bar appear only during meetings or not even appear at all, which will make lying about tasks easier for impostors.

One of the cooler beta updates is that they’ve made the game more colorblind-friendly so that the task outlines in rooms will be more easily detectable for those who can’t quite distinguish the colors. Great job, Innersloth!

As we said, these are only beta updates so hopefully, they do make it in-game. So far, beta users playing on the computer using Steam are the ones who have noticed these, so hopefully even us mobile users will get these updates soon!
