Remember that video of little kids eating Filipino food for the first time that was just stinkin’ adorable?
Well, cute as it was, the video featured some of our country’s more “exotic” fare, which obviously didn’t sit well with the kids the first time.
It seems that the folks over at Cut video got a good scolding from their Filipina titas (because honestly, who else would it be?) as they released a part 2 of this video featuring more familiar and crowd-pleasing delights! Adobo! Pancit! Halo-halo!
The real stars of the video, however, were the cute, toothy young-uns.
This kiddo rolled his sleeves up at the sight of chicken adobo and rice, and you know things were about to get serious:
And little Ernie, whose cute little eyes pleaded when they were taking away his chicken adobo:
Mad props to this girl for channeling her inner Pinoy! Case in point: “Every time we go to the mall for Jollibee, I ask my mom for halo-halo.” Kid’s got her priorities straight! #respect
And these twins are all of us when we see halo-halo as they SQUEALED at the sight of it! We know sweeties, we know.
This tween didn’t seem into it, though. Awww, it’s okay — maybe in a few years when Filipino cuisine is the next hipster ethnic food craze you’ll finally get it.
