To mark eight decades of aviation leadership, the airline is launching an unprecedented 80-day campaign featuring fare discounts of up to 80% for selected flights from Singapore to Africa and South America.

Since its maiden flight to Cairo in 1946, Ethiopian Airlines has grown from a regional carrier into a global powerhouse, now serving 130 destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond. As it enters its 80th year on April 8, 2026, this milestone highlights the airline’s pivotal role in connecting the Asia-Pacific region to the African continent and beyond.
Throughout the campaign, travellers from Singapore will enjoy exclusive anniversary fares on selected routes via Addis Ababa. These promotional fares, which are applicable to Economy Class base fares only, offer a unique opportunity to explore key destinations within Ethiopian Airlines’ vast network.

The 80th Anniversary campaign will run in four 20-day phases, with savings decreasing as the promotion progresses. Discounts will start from up to 80% in the first phase, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis in each phase.
