It’s an end of an era, as they say, as last year’s most talked about couple, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, have broken up.
According to E! News, sources close to the couple confirmed that the two have parted ways after their busy schedules and the long distance have “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.” Despite the breakup, the couple reportedly still have “a lot of love and respect for each other.”
Pete has been in Australia for the past several weeks to film his new movie “Wizards!” with co-stars Orlando Bloom, Naomi Scott, Sean Harris, and Franz Rogowski. Meanwhile, Kim has been enjoying her time with family and focusing on her business. She did, however, visit Pete in Australia in early July.
This news comes nine months after E! News announced that the two were officially dating. Back in October, Kim was a celebrity guest on “Saturday Night Live” where it’s said that their romance developed.
Kim and Pete would then become the target of frequent “online harassment” from Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West. Pete then broke his silence in March to ask the rapper to stop the attacks on them as seen in screenshots of their leaked text messages to one another.
Despite this, the couple wasn’t afraid to publicly show their love in the months throughout the remaining duration of their relationship—such as a tattooed tribute to their “SNL” skit, an appearance at the Met Gala, and an expected cameo in the newest season of “The Kardashians” which includes a scene where Kim asks Pete to shower. Pete has also reportedly spent time with Kim’s children, North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint.
