Ever dreamed of living out your fantasy hero adventures while rocking your best Halloween look? Now’s your chance! On November 15, 2025, Adventurers Anonymous Manila is taking over iAcademy Nexus for Turn Undead: Twisted Theatre, a Halloween Tabletop RPG Faire packed with chaos, camaraderie, and maybe even a few undead surprises.
After a few quiet years, Adventurers Anonymous Manila is finally back in the scene! The group is known for hosting some of the most unforgettable Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) events in the Metro — from epic-centered conventions like Epicenter, to charity games under Action to Aid, and beginner-friendly sessions titled Ready Player One.
Now, they’re returning with a vengeance through another massive event. This year’s theme promises a thrilling mix of roleplay, costumes, and spine-chilling fun. Get ready to roll the dice and step into a world where things are about to get deliciously twisted.
Their last event in 2022, Turn Undead: Monster Masquerade, invited players into a real mansion in Quezon City, where haunting halls and gothic details made everyone feel like part of the story — whether they came in costume or not.
“This year, we’re offering a more comfortable venue, in partnership with iAcademy, to welcome both newbie and veteran players to the 2024 D&D rules,” shares Rue Agustin Cruz, organizer at Adventurers Anonymous Manila.
Just like in previous Adventurers Anonymous Manila events, attendees can come dressed as their favorite heroes, villains, or monsters. Those who go the extra mile can compete in the Costume Contest, with awards celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and commitment to character.
The event kicks off at 9:00 AM, featuring multiple tables of D&D games and other tabletop offerings running simultaneously until noon. After the break, the stakes rise with the Adventurers League Epic: The Burning of Aglarond — a high-stakes, multi-table adventure where dozens of players unite to defend a realm engulfed in flame and shadow.
For the uninitiated, an Epic is no ordinary D&D session. It’s a synchronized, multi-table game where every table’s actions ripple across the event hall. Every triumph or tragedy shifts the balance of the story, and your dice rolls could decide the fate of an entire kingdom.
“We love running events that bring the community together,” says DM Marvin from Adventurers Anonymous Manila. “There’s nothing quite like seeing a room full of players cheering, strategizing, and reacting to each other’s rolls. It’s magic — literally and figuratively.”
So gather your party, sharpen your swords, and brace yourselves: Aglarond burns, and heroes must rise. When the fire of Thay spreads, the only thing standing between the living and the undead… is you.
