Last February 1, 2026, De La Salle University celebrated the 37th year of For the Kids (FTK). The event was organized by the Center of Social Concern and Action (COSCA), led through its student volunteer arm, Lasallian Outreach and Volunteer Effort (COSCA-LOVE). FTK remains one of DLSU’s largest institutional social engagement activities, bringing together volunteers, partner organizations, and 400 children with special needs to create meaningful connections and unforgettable memories.
This year, FTK embraced the theme “Haraya: A Festival of Dreams,” offering a day filled with tawa, saya, at kwento through interactive games, new friendships, and lighthearted moments. Staying true to its theme, the event captured the essence of celebrating dreams and served as a reminder of the importance of creating inclusive spaces where every child’s dream can be seen and celebrated.
As the sun set at the Henry Sy Sr. Grounds on February 1, For the Kids 2026 concluded as a day of smiles and joy, as the community came together with compassion, purpose, and a shared commitment to service—making dreams not only imagined, but lived.
