The actress Joey King is engaged! She made the announcement on her social media, posting photos with her ring and her partner, Steven Piet. The 22 year-old actress is most known for her roles in movies Ramona and Beezus as well as the Netflix hit franchise The Kissing Booth.

The couple got engaged on a special date: on February 2nd, 2022 or 2/2/22! This made her feel like the “luckiest lady alive,” according to King.
She wrote on Instagram:
“I never knew happiness could be so powerful that it can take the air from your lungs, overwhelming every part of you that you can’t help but feel your eyes well from the undeniable joy. I never knew that a persons presence and heart could feel like a real home. I never knew love could be so unquestionably beautiful. I never knew until you. The date was 2/2/22 when you asked me to marry you and made me the luckiest lady alive. I love you more than an Instagram caption could ever do justice. Hanging out with you forever sounds like a real dream, so let’s do it.”

Joey and her now-fiancé reportedly first started dating in 2019. Steven Piet is a producer, writer, and director, whom King worked with on the Hulu drama The Act. Joey King played Gypsy Blanchard in the show, shaving her head in real life specifically for the role. The role landed her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress.
