A Look at the Possible Prison Detention Facilty in Camp Crame for High Profile Inmates Facing Plunder Charges
Yesterday, the PNP allowed members of the media to view the possible detention cell of the high profile personalities implicated in the controversial Pork Barrel Scam in Camp Crame. Every detention unit has as a size of aroundย 32 square meters (hmmm more like a standard hotel room in my experience…)ย
According to news, the newly-renovated prison complex is reportedly ready for a group of very important inmatesโthe lawmakers facing plunder charges in connection with the P10-billion Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.
Let’s take a closer look:
Newly constructed and newly painted units that will possibly house each of the 3 accused senators
ย
single bed, cabinets and a sink with newly installed tiles…
ย
it also has a toilet
ย
newly tiled with a new toilet bowl and sink
ย
Each detention cell has 1 ceiling fan and according to the PNP, all additional ย furnishings such as aircon, ref etc would be subject to court approval.
ย
Upon seeing these photos yesterday, I couldn’t help but think about ordinary Pinoys who are sharing a cell with hundreds of inmates….ย

What can you say about these photos?
Do you think these high profile inmates should be given special treatment?
Should the court grant them permission to install more appliances and furniture?
I would love to read your comments below….
