Cast Shares Fun Behind the Scenes Tidbits From “A Good Day to be a Dog”

If you’re not watching A Good Day to be a Dog on Viu yet, you need to get on it!

Based on a webtoon, A Good Day to be a Dog is basically about a woman who suffers from a family curse where she turns into a dog from midnight until 6AM whenever she kisses someone. To break the curse, she simply has to kiss the same man… but as a dog. And as luck would have it, the man she kissed… is afraid of dogs.

Yes, the premise is silly. Still, we are so entertained by this show. It’s filled with good vibes and will bring you a ton of laughter. Plus, there’s so much eye candy, thanks to Park Gyu-young, Cha Eun-woo, and Lee Hyun-woo.

Eye candy not enough to convince you? We got to interview the cast to give you more reasons why you need to watch A Good Day to be a Dog.

Park Gyu-young points out that the director, staff, and actors all worked together to make each day of shooting A Good Day to be a Dog more enjoyable. “As a result, I believe the story and the characters are filled with bright and energetic energy. This is a title that can provide positive energy, so I hope you have high expectations and show a lot of love for it,” she says.

Lee Hyun-woo agrees that the drama is truly a lovely and enjoyable one. “It will make you feel happy while watching,” he promises. “The on-set atmosphere was so cheerful, and I believe that it has translated well into the show. I recommend watching our drama to end your day on a happy note.”

Cha Eun-woo shares that he chose this drama because of its interesting premise and his love for dogs. “I believe that this unique and fresh subject is the charm of A Good Day to be a Dog,” he adds.

The cast also shared some of their most memorable moments while filming A Good Day to be a Dog, which you should definitely watch out for when watching the show.

Eun-woo’s most memorable scene is the one with the line, “I wouldn’t be scared if it were you.” “This is an important moment for Seo-won and Hae-na,” he points out. “It’s a heartfelt scene where they confirm each other’s feelings, and it’s a memorable moment because of Seo-won’s sincerity in that scene as well.”

Gyu-young’s most memorable scene is a funnier one where Eun-woo had to kiss the dog. “He applied dog snacks to his mouth before shooting,” she reveals. “It was a memorable moment because not just me but the whole staff had to hold back laughter while shooting.”

For Hyun-woo, the most memorable scene is where Bo-gyeom and Seo-won are having a drink and talking in front of the camping car. To him, the situation, space, and emotions were just perfect, and felt very comfortable. “Also, while acting alongside Cha Eun-woo, I felt the power of his acting, and that scene has left a lasting impression on me,” he says in awe.

Eun-woo also shares his most “difficult” time on set: where he had to act like he was scared and trembling while looking at the dog… if you see the dog in the show, you’ll understand why this was difficult for him. :p
