When in Manila for work or leisure, we always look for the most convenient place to stay—and by convenient, we mean somewhere that won’t require us to commute to our destination, which is pretty tricky considering the metro is so spread out.
We consider ourselves lucky then to find F1 Hotel Manila right smack at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig where we were supposed to take care of some errands for a few days. It was walking distance from everything else and we loved it immediately, but it turns out the location was just among the many treats we were to experience.
For one, we love their rooms’ modern touches—low-key but still sophisticated on all the right places.
The views from the full-wall windows are gorgeous. We are still partial to ocean views but this is about one of the best the metro has to offer.
And then came the food.
Flavorful spicy grilled free range spring chicken. Fillet of mahi mahi. Bailey’s cheesecake and mango banana crepe. Everything was flavorful and one serving is almost always good enough for two!
Despite being part of an international chain of hotels and resorts, F1 is putting local Pinoy touches into their brand—from its all-Filipino top management to the delicious local fare in their buffet spread from breakfast to dinner. It also has no less than Chef Sau Del Rosario onboard!
Meanwhile, the hotel also offers a bevy of relaxation options for their guests, including a third-floor pool area and spa services.
What can we say—all we wanted was a good location and we got the best creature comforts in return. Doing business when in Manila has never been this good!
