The nominees for the 49th Gawad Urian Awards have been announced.

On September 1, Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino announced its list of nominees, recognizing actors, directors, and crew for their outstanding contributions to the Filipino film industry.
The historical biopic “Quezon” bagged the most nominations at this year’s film awards, with 10 nods, followed by “Cinemartyrs” and “Sunshine,” which each received eight nominations.
In 2025, the indie documentary “Alipato at Muog” won the Best Film, while veteran actor Dante Rivero was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
