On August 31, Super Entertainment announced that “2 Valid IDs” is set for a nationwide release.

Directed by Ma-an Asuncion Dagñalan, “2 Valid IDs” centers around Sylvia, a loving wife who is set to receive financial aid to support her severely ill husband. However, she doesn’t have the proper documents for it. The drama film is top-billed by Marietta Subong, or more popularly known as Pokwang.
It also features an ensemble cast starring Joey Marquez, Meryll Soriano, and Zaijian Jaranilla.
Apart from its blockbuster success during its Cinemalaya 2026 run, the satirical film also won the Special Jury Prize for Full-Length Feature at the film festival’s awards night. The film also showcased Pokwang’s impressive acting chops, earning her the Best Actress award at the same ceremony.
The exact theatrical release date for “2 Valid IDs” are yet to be announced.
