To celebrate eight decades of service, Unilab officially launched its “Alagang Para sa Lahat” campaign—and it’s all about strengthening that “Husay at Malasakit” (excellence and compassion) we’ve come to know and love.
The grand kick-off happened recently at Robinsons Galleria, where the mall was transformed into a wellness hub. Mallgoers were treated to a full day of free check-ups, health services, and product samplings.
But beyond the booths, the heart of the event was the storytelling. Unilab Inc. President and CEO Backy Baquiranshared a powerful message about what “Alaga” truly means:
“Today, we take this commitment a step further… because alaga is more than care—it is a real, intentional, and shared commitment. It is care that does not choose who to serve, but chooses to serve everyone.”
One of the biggest highlights of the 80th anniversary is Unilab’s powerhouse partnership with Southstar Drug and Rose Pharmacy.
Ermelo Villaroman, Unilab’s Corporate VP, shared a relatable story that many of us can vibe with. He recalled living abroad for 15 years and always stocking up on a six-month supply of Unilab products because they were an essential part of his family’s healing.
