Fully Booked Power Plant Mall has reopened its doors with a new look and an exciting collaboration. Starting October 24, 2025, the store now operates as a Fully Booked x Kinokuniya branch, offering readers a refreshed space and a wider selection of titles.

This reopening marks a new chapter for one of Fully Booked’s most iconic locations. The Power Plant branch first opened in 2003 as Fully Booked’s first store, and over the years, it has become a familiar stop for many book lovers.
Now, it joins the brand’s growing list of Kinokuniya collaboration stores, following branches in MITSUKOSHI BGC, SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, Glorietta 4 Makati, and SM City Cebu.
The store combines Fully Booked’s curated selection with Kinokuniya’s extensive range of Japanese literature, manga, art books, and language titles. It also introduces Wasachi, a renowned matcha café from Japan, offering visitors a space to enjoy drinks while browsing or reading.

Fully Booked founder and managing director Jaime Daez shared that the Power Plant Mall branch holds a special place in the brand’s history.
“Power Plant Mall is where our journey began and where our vision continues to grow,” said Daez. “As Fully Booked continues to expand geographically and conceptually, our focus remains the same—to create spaces that inspire curiosity, foster learning, and bring joy through stories.”
Daez’s journey started in the mid-1990s, when he noticed the limited availability of architecture and design books in the country. He began sourcing titles abroad and distributing them locally, which eventually led to the founding of Bibliarch in 1997 and Fully Booked in 2003, with Power Plant Mall as its first location.
