BLACKPINK Jisoo has signed a label deal with Warner Records for her solo music.

On January 28, Warner Records confirmed that the BLACKPINK star had inked a global deal with them.

“We are so excited to welcome Korean superstar singer, actress, and member of history-making group BLACKPINK, JISOO to the Warner Records family!” it wrote across their social media platforms.
The K-pop star is thrilled to enter a new chapter of her life with the American record label. In 2023, all four members of BLACKPINK declined to renew contracts with YG Entertainment for their solo activities, but they would continue to partner with the agency for group activities.
“I’m excited about this new era and the continuation of my musical journey,” she said in a statement via a Variety report. “I feel like I’m just getting started and I’d like to thank the BLINKs for all of their love and support. This is just the beginning and I’m thrilled to kick off this seismic moment with Warner Records.”
The K-pop sensation is definitely booked and busy, headlining an acting comeback in a television series and dropping her much-anticipated mini-album AMORTAGE.
AMORTAGE marks her first solo comeback after two years following the global success of her first mini-album ME, which was released under YG Entertainment.
Newtopia will premiere on Prime Video in the Philippines on February 7, 2025, while her mini-album AMORTAGE is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025.
