For Andrea Brillantes, beauty has always been by her side throughout her life. Did you know that she started wearing makeup when she was five and that she did her own makeup for shoots and TV guestings when she was just 10? Her journey with makeup led to the realization that makeup has always been instrumental to her success.
“Makeup is a wearable lucky charm,” says Andrea. Wanting everyone else to feel the good luck that makeup brings, Andrea created Lucky Beauty. The brand Lucky Beauty is all about makeup products that serve as lucky charms you can always rely on, whether it’s because of the brilliant formulas or the energy they give.
Lucky Beauty is a brand with clean and thoughtful formulations. Its products are all vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, preservative-safe, and dermatologist-tested. Its products are also made with the intent to make us look good, feel good, and love ourselves more, which would then makes us feel “lucky” and ready to take on whatever comes our way.
Our launch features six products that give you a first glimpse into Andrea’s routine. These products are what Andrea likes, as a makeup consumer herself, and what works for her at this point in her life.
First are the versatile base products that reflect Andrea’s approach to makeup. The Serum Concealer (P349), which comes in nine shades, is a skin-like, buildable and multifunctional concealer that conceals, contours, brightens and hydrates. Meant to apply like an eye cream, it refreshes the skin with an instant cooling effect and seamlessly layers over or under makeup.
Paired with the concealer is the Skin Blur Powder Foundation (P549) that blurs and mattifies the skin, creating a soft and velvety complexion. With medium-to-full coverage, this powder works multiple ways – a setting powder, a foundation, and a blotting powder. It also comes in nine shades that match the concealers.
When it comes to face products, Andrea wants them to be versatile and brilliant. Case in point, the Blush & Lip Cream (P349) is a multitasking cream that’s easily blended and extremely buildable. It features a dome-shaped applicator that adds a unique experience in application. The nine shades available cover your blush, contour/bronzer, lip color and even eyeshadow.
Next is the Pressed Highlighter (P499) that illuminates the complexion and adds brilliance and radiance overall. Its gel-powder formula has ultra-fine light-reflecting pearl particles that can go from subtle glimmer to dazzling glow. This highlighter, which comes in four shades that are universally flattering, will make you stand out and be the star you are – just like Andrea.
Knowing her audience, Andrea went for a lip stain for her first lip product. The Dewy Lip Stain (P299) is a hydrating lip tint that gives color with a glossy shine. It starts off dewy and juicy, then leaves a beautiful stain. It features a dual applicator, where you use the fluffy brush for a more controlled application and the silicone side for a sheer, quick application.
Finally, the brows. When you think of Andrea, it’s impossible not to think of her gorgeous thick and polished brows. Andrea’s favorite product herself – the Brow Grip (P299) is a water-resistant clear gel that laminates and conditions your brow. Its versatile applicator also allows you to explore different brow styles. With this brow gel, anyone can have the dreamy Andrea brows.
“Someday, Blythe. Someday, magkakaroon din ako ng sarili kong [I will have my own] makeup brand,” Andrea told herself once. Now that the dream is a reality, we can all share the luck that Andrea gets to have through makeup, her lucky charms.
