Have you already plotted the release dates of your favorite Marvel movies on your calendar? You’ll need to reschedule them as Disney pushed back some of the release dates.
According to reports, the delay is the result of director Bassam Tariq leaving Blade due to scheduling conflicts. Because of his departure, Marvel temporarily shut down production while they look for a replacement. As a result, the original release date of November 3, 2023, is now moved to September 6, 2024.
This is not the first time this has happened. When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was delayed because of the pandemic, the release dates of Thor: Love and Thunder and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever were affected, too.
Here are the new release dates of upcoming Marvel movies:
Deadpool 3: from September 6, 2024, to November 8, 2024
Fantastic Four: from November 8, 2024, to February 14, 2025;
Untitled Marvel movie: from February 14, 2025, to November 7, 2025
Avengers: Secret Wars: from November 7, 2025, to May 1, 2026
Untitled Marvel movie: from May 1, 2026, to no longer being on Disney’s release schedule
