Janella Salvador teased fans once more with a glamorous photoshoot inspired by her character Valentina as she marked the beginning of the countdown to the much-awaited premiere of “Darna: The TV Series.”
In her photos, taken by Mike Gella, Janella donned an elegant black dress and golden accessories that looped around her head and neck, mimicking the hair of snakes that Valentina is often depicted having. The actress also held up a live snake.
“The countdown begins,” she wrote in the caption.

Notably, the pictures were quite blurred to maintain the air of mystery surrounding what Janella was planned to look like as Valentina.
The cast and crew have made efforts to ensure that the costumes of Janella and “Darna” lead actress Jane De Leon are kept secret until the premiere of the show, and it’s what many fans have been greatly anticipating. Fortunately, it won’t be long until we finally get to see them in their outfits with “Darna” already set to begin on August 15!
“Darna” will be available to watch on the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and JeepneyTV. It is directed by Chito S. Roño, alongside Avel Sunpongco and Benedict Mique.
