Zac Efron just posted a photo of him at Salt Lake High School East aka East High School–the filming location of “High School Musical”! “Don’t you… Forget about me,” he wrote in the caption.

This comes a few weeks after co-star Vanessa Hudgens shared her visit to the school located in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. On June 27, she wrote, “Do you remember in kindergarten how you’d meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you’re playing like you’re best friends because you didn’t have to be anything but yourself?”
The half-Filipino actress/singer even added her unforgettable duet with Zac, “Breaking Free”, as the background music of her video.

Even though the posts are weeks apart and the actors’ captions seem unrelated to the musical film series, netizens could not help but think that another sequel might be in the works.
A user wrote on Efron’s post, “But but but… Vanessa posted a similar one a few weeks ago. What does this mean?” Another one appeared to run out of words but, “Reunion? HSM4???”
They just couldn’t hide their excitement and yearned for answers asap. A fan asked in reference to the Disney movies, “Omg! Is this THE START OF SOMETHING NEW?”
The love team became famous for their roles as Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez in the series of musicals that first aired in 2006. “High School Musical” was immediately followed by “High School Musical 2” in 2007 and “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” in 2008.
They also dated in real life which became public in 2006, but called it quits in 2010.
