LOOK: This Rockstar Couple Showed off Their Musical Skills While Walking Down the Aisle

When planning a wedding, you’ll always hear people say to make it your own because it is your wedding. This couple from Benguet recently went viral all over social media for truly incorporating themselves into the beautiful wedding party!

Melody and Marson Fongwan is a rockstar couple who showed off their amazing musical skills while walking down the aisle. In a video posted by their official photographer, Jordan Salinas, the couple is seen playing a rock version of Canon in D as they’re making their way to the reception.

Unsurprisingly, this video instantly went viral. Melody shares with WhenInManila.com that they didn’t expect their wedding performance to blow up on social media. In fact, this was the first time they ever played together! While they are both musicians, they are not part of the same band. Melody plays bass for her band Ashfall while Marson is the lead guitarist of his own band called Clutch.

Melody reveals that the idea to play their instruments during the reception was suggested by her maid of honor, Laura Jane Caducio, who is also a fellow musician from Baguio. She says that it was a way for the couple to incorporate their lives as musicians into their wedding.

“We just really enjoyed it and felt happy playing together in front of our families for the first time,” shares Melody.

The couple got married on February 22, 2022 (or 2/22/22) at their alma mater, Philippine Nazarene College.
