In case you haven’t heard, Studio Ghibli is making its own theme park in Japan soon featuring all its popular movies that have captured the hearts of fans around the world over the years.
Since its announcement, Studio Ghibli has provided a few teasers to what we can expect from the theme park–from concept art to an amazingly detailed map. Now, the latest news they’ve shared is that they are currently building a real life-sized version of Howl’s Moving Castle!
Studio Ghibli released concept art of the structure that doesn’t show how it will look once it’s finished but showcases the intricate design of the castle in the movie. It seems, though, that it will be slightly smaller in scale but will still be impressive nonetheless!
Howl’s Moving Castle is just one of the many more attractions that will be built inside the theme park which will have five areas in total. The park will be located in Aichi’s Expo Park in Nagoya and is set to open in 2022. Check out the map below to see what else you can expect!
