Actor-comedian Joey Paras has taken to Instagram to ask for help from his over 41K friends and followers to raise funds for his upcoming heart surgery.
“Knocking on your door! Please help me,” he said in his post where he revealed that he needs to collect at least PHP750K for his operation.
Joey, who was a mainstay in the GMA Network noontime show Sunday PinaSaya that ended in 2019, had already undergone two heart surgeries in the past. He was also recently cleared of having the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, much to his relief.

He also put up his house in Imus, Cavite for sale to help with his medical expenses. “The house used to be a stock room of Teatro Expedicion de Filipinas’ props, set pieces, and costumes,” he shared.

It was back in September 2016 when Joey revealed to PEP.ph his heart ailment, which he believed was due to taking too many diet pills when he was younger.
