Yesterday, Gilas Pilipinas went head on versus the Angola national team at the FIBA World Cup. The game ended in an overtime with a score of 84-81 in favor of Angola.
Ravena attempted a three-point shot to make it a tie; however, the ball missed and hit the rim before the buzzer went off. Because of the missed shot, some netizens can’t help but blame him for the loss. In an interview after the game, the Phenom let out his thoughts. “It’s tough, man. We wanted to win so bad especially for coach Yeng, for the whole team. Pero short eh,” the Gilas guard said. “Never ako naging emotional sa laro pag kilala niyo ako pero we’ve been under so much criticism kasi,” the Phenom explained as he was trying to hold tears back.
