It’s been a while since we had a local film made that centered on local music appreciation. But the wait will soon be over with the much-anticipated premiere of LSS, a Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019 official entry.

LSS, which will be directed by Jade Castro for Globe Studios, will star real-life lovers Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos whose characters share a love for folk-pop group Ben&Ben.
Ben&Ben has amassed a great following for their upbeat songs and concert performances, and there is no doubt that this upcoming film will resonate in the hearts of many who have likewise built friendships through a common love for the band.
LSS will also be Gabbi Garcia’s first lead role in a movie, which she gushes about in her Instagram post.

Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019 will be held on September 12 to 18 and will be shown in all cinemas nationwide. The launch coincides with the 100th year celebration of Philippine Cinema.
