The thing about great Pinoy films is that it’s always a package deal of equally amazing soundtracks. Sometimes, we get new and original songs that’ll be our LSS for weeks. Other times, we have remade versions of previously released songs that are just as enjoyable with its fresh sound and style. It seems that the latter has been the recent trend of Pinoy romcoms.
After Moira dela Torre’s heart-wrenching rendition of Moonstar88’s “Torete” which was the soundtrack of the film Love You To The Stars And Back, we may have the next film soundtrack that will be on repeat for the next few months.
Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga will be reuniting in upcoming film Last Night which was written by Bela Padilla. Its theme song has been recently released and it is a version of Silent Sanctuary’s hit, “Sa’yo,” now performed by Ebe Dancel.

With a film that already looks quite heartbreaking as proven by its trailer, this theme song is bound to get us all weeping in theaters once it premieres on the 27th of September.
